He has completed his Ph. D. in Ayurveda (Kayachikitsa) from NIA, Jaipur, Jodhpur University, Rajasthan and DNHE (Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education) under IGNOU, Delhi. He started his career at Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush in the year November, 1994 as Assistant Research Officer (Ay.) In-charge in THCRP, Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh (NE Region), with responsibility in Monitoring Complete Administration of the THCRP, Ziro., Clinical. Research: THCRP, SOSS etc.
He was promoted to Research Officer (Ay.) In-charge at THCRP, Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh (NE Region) in January, 1996. He also served as Research Officer (Ay) at RRI, Vijayawada (A.P.) from September,1997. His research was focused on Tamaka Swasa (Br. Asthma), Vyanabala Vaisamya (Essential Hypertension), and RFD Projects (viz. Kamala, Kasa, Netraroga, Pravahika, Grahani, Amavata, Sandhivata, Apabahuka) and MCRU Programme.
He was Research Officer (Ay), In-Charge in RRI (Ay), Mandi, Himachal Pradesh from October, 1999. At RRI(Ay), Mandi his work was focused on monitoring complete administration of the Institute, and guiding for clinical projects of the Institute on Amavata and Arshas.
He also served as Research Officer (Ay) at RRI (Ay), Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh from September,2000. His research was focused on projects Vyanabala, Vaishamya, Amavata, Iron deficiency Anaemia, and Pharmacovigilance study on Ayurveda and Siddha practices.
Later on, he served as Research Officer (Ay), In-Charge at CRI (Ay), Jaipur from April, 2008. His research was focused on monitoring complete administration of the Institute, and guiding for all clinical projects of the Institute related to Iron deficiency Anaemia and Pharmaco-vigilance study on Ayurveda and Siddha practices.
In July, 2008 he was promoted to Assistant Director (Ay) where his research was focused on Iron deficiency Anaemia, Pharmacovigilance study on Ayurveda and Siddha practices, and Vector Borne diseases.
He joined as Assistant Director (Ay), In-Charge at CRI (Ay), Gwalior in November, 2008. His work was focused on monitoring administrative, technical and outreach programmes THCRP & MCRU of the Institute. He was associated with IMR Projects on Iron deficiency Anaemia, Pharmacovigilance study on Ayurveda and Siddha practices, Vector borne diseases, Geriatric disorders etc. and Supervision of Botanical Survey, Pharmacology Section & Chemistry Unit.
He served as Assistant Director (Ay) at NARIVBD, Vijayawada from March, 2009. His research was focused on Pharmacovigilance study on Ayurveda and Siddha practices, Vector borne diseases, Geriatric disorders, Hospital & Path. Lab In-charge, IMR Projects on Amavata (R.A.), Tamaka Swasa (Br. Asthma), and Iron Deficiency Anaemia.
He joined as Assistant Director (Ay) In-charge at ACDRI, Ahmedabad on 11th June, 2015. His work was focused on monitoring administrative, technical and outreach programmes of the Institute, and initiated NPCDCS Programme at Dist. Surendranagar, Gujarat. and Swasthya Rakshan Programme.
He served as Assistant Director In Charge at RARISD, Vijayawada from 2nd May, 2016. His work was focused on monitoring administrative, technical, outreach programmes of THCRP (TSP), AMHCP(SCSP), Swasthya Rakshan Programme (SRP) and other timely allotted assignments by the headquarter. He was associated in IMR projects viz. Osteoporosis, Gridhrasi (Sciatica), Swasa (Bronchialasthma), Sthoulya (obesity), Vicharchika (Eczema), Filariasis Ayush-SL, Mutrasmari (Urolithiosis) and Psoriasis, Drug development and preparation of coded trial drugs for clinical trials.
He joined as Asst. Director (Ay), In-charge at CARI, Jhansi on 14th September, 2020. His work was focused on monitoring administrative, technical work related to Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Quality control labs and other ongoing projects of the Institute. He was Principal Investigator of EMR Project: Establishment of National raw Drug Repository (NRDR) and actively involved in establishment of WHO compliance Pharmacy and quality control Laboratory.
Currently he is serving as Director at CARI, Kolkata from 3rd March, 2023. His work is focused on monitoring complete administration of the Institute, and guiding for clinical and preclinical projects of the Institute.
Organized National Campaigns during the year 2009-10 in 7 (seven) places of M.P. i.e., Satna, Morena, Sivpuri, Ujjain, Khandwa, Guna and Chattarpur as per the directives of Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Principal Secretary AYUSH, Commissioner AYUSH.
He has participated in various training programmes viz NABL Assessors’ Training on ISO/IEC 17025:2017 & ISO 17034:2016, NABL ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ISO/IEC 17025:2005, ISO 17034:2016, Administrative and financial for AYUSH officials etc. Further, he has organized NABH, NABL trainings and CME Programmes etc.
He is an approved NABL Assessors as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 as per NABL ISO 17034 and authorized signatory for NABL and Drug Testing Laboratory
He received Talented Scientist Award in the 2nd International seminar on medicinal plants and herbal expo organized by S. V. University, Tirupati; Chikitsha Ratna Award on the occasion of WHO day organized by Akhila Bhartiya Swasthya Sanghatan (ABSS), Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh; IRES AYUSH Gourav Award-2023 awarded by Independent Resrch Ethics Society; IRES AYUSH Samriddhi Award-2025 awarded by Independent Research Ethics Society and Dr Bidhan-Chandra-Roy Award 2025 in National Ayush Summit – 2025, Organized by All India Homoeopathic Doctors Association, West Bengal Chapter & Science College, Calcutta University.
He is editorial board member for International Journal of advances in Pharmacy, Medicine and Bio-allied sciences and National Journal of Ayurvedic and Alternative Medicine.
He is recognized Ph.D. guide of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, for conducting Research work in Ayurveda (Kayachikitsa) and guided 05 nos. Ph.D. holder.
He has published more than 90 research papers in International / National Journals, Book Chapters in National/ International Books. Additionally, he organized more than 30 Seminar/ Conference/ Workshop/Webinars, and attended more than 70 Seminar/Workshop. He has handled 32 nos. clinical projects as PI and has conducted 30 training program for scientists
