सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मामलों से संबंधित नियमित गतिविधियों के अलावा, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी अनुभाग इस परिषद की विभिन्न गतिविधियों के समन्वय और संगठन में सक्रिय रूप से शामिल रहा है। परिषद के वैज्ञानिकों को निरंतर तकनीकी सहायता प्रदान करने के अलावा, अनुभाग ने परिषद के वैज्ञानिकों को नई प्रौद्योगिकी पहलों के साथ कुशल बनाने के उद्देश्य से ऑनलाइन प्रशिक्षण का आयोजन किया है जो उनके अनुसंधान को प्रभावी ढंग से बढ़ाएगा।

The IT section has successfully implemented eOffice at CCRAS with the assistance of a Technical Manager for, hired through NICSI. The eOffice Account License and the required VM servers have been purchased, vetted and the servers are functioning successfully. The employees of the headquarter office are working successfully on eOffice and at peripheral institutes deployment of eOffice has been initiated. Along with this to utilize the full potential of eOffice application, IT Section has successfully created the Scanning Hubs in the Council that every single document should be scanned and communicated through eOffice only. IT section also initiated the process of digitization of legacy files.

Structured Local Area Network at CCRAS has also been implemented by the section in the council increasing the overall internet speed and employee efficiency. NIC SPARROW (Smart Performance Appraisal Report Recording Online Window) application has been implemented for the online filing of APARs. Apart from that IT Section has successfully upgraded the Server room with latest technologies and UPS. Also, the upgrading & revamping of Council’s Website has been completed.
