Dr. Kishor Patel completed his B.A.M.S. from R.A. Podar Medical (Ay.) College, Worli, Mumbai, in 2011. He subsequently completed his M.D. (Ay.) in Kayachikitsa from I.P.G.T. & R.A., Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar, and his Ph.D. from Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar, in 2015. Thus, he has had the opportunity to gain academic knowledge and training from three prestigious institutes of India.
Professional Experience
Research Officer (Ayurveda), CCRAS-CARI, New Delhi | 2017 – Present
Actively contributing to clinical research, formulation development, and institutional growth under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
Research Contributions:
Dr. Kishor Patel has been involved in around 09 different research projects as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator. His research experience encompasses clinical research, community-based studies and Systematic reviews.
Research & Collaborations
He is actively involved in high-impact collaborative clinical research on various chronic and lifestyle disorders—including Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Coronary Artery Disease, Anaemia, and Liver Diseases. He collaborates closely with India’s apex medical and research institutions:
- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
- Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.
- Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
- Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS).
Publications and Academic Contributions
Dr. Kishor Patel has more than 10 authored/co-authored articles published in different peer-reviewed and indexed journals. He has also contributed as a reviewer for a CCRAS journal.
In-charge of Ayurveda OPD, First Aid Point, Supreme Court of India | Current
Entrusted with managing and supervising AYUSH healthcare services at Hon’ble Supreme Court of India from 2023 till date.
In-charge of Ayurveda Treatment Centre, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi | 2017 – 2022
Successfully managed administrative and clinical operations, mainstreaming AYUSH healthcare services within a premier tertiary care hospital.
Medical Consultant, Press Club of India
Provided expert Ayurvedic medical consultations and healthcare services to members.
