Academic Background: Dr. Renu Rani is currently working as a Research Officer (Ayurveda) at Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi, under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. She has been serving in this position since February 2021.

She completed her B.A.M.S. from Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College (SKGAC), Kurukshetra, Haryana, in 2015. She subsequently completed her M.D. (Ayurveda) in Kaumarbhritya from the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA), Jamnagar, Gujarat, in 2018, followed by her Ph.D. (Ayurveda) in Kaumarbhritya from the same institute in 2023.

Dr. Renu Rani began her professional career as an Assistant Professor at National College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Barwala, Hisar, where she served for one year and three months in 2018. She then pursued her Ph.D. at ITRA, Jamnagar, as a full-time research scholar. After completing her doctoral research, she joined CCRAS as a Research Officer (Ayurveda) on 1 February 2021 and has been posted at CARI, New Delhi, since then. She also served in the Ministry of Ayush for a period of three months.

Dr. Rani has published more than 20 research papers in national and international journals, including UGC-CARE and PubMed-indexed journals. She has presented 10 scientific papers and 6 posters at various national and international seminars and conferences. She has also served as a coordinator for the organization of various seminars, conferences, workshops, webinars, and other academic programmes. She developed an Android-based application, “E-Kaumarbhritya,” designed to support undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of Kaumarbhritya.

Research Contributions: She has successfully completed a pilot project for Child Care Institutions under Mission Vatsalya in 2023. She worked as PI and Co-I on various Collaborative and IMR Projects, and as a reviewer for various CCRAS programs and the Ayu Journal. Member of IRC of SKAU, Kurukshetra Since January 2025 and DRAC member of Kaumarbhritya Dept. of  SKAU, Kurukshetra since April 2025.  She also engaged in various activities and programs as nodal and co-nodal officer. She is looking after Balroga and General OPD at CARI, New Delhi. Dr. Renu Rani specializes in neonatal care, neuromuscular disorders, and musculoskeletal disorders in children, with a particular focus on pediatric healthcare and Ayurvedic approaches to child health.
