Research Contributions:

1. Research Experience and Profile

• More than 20 years of experience in Ayurveda research, with extensive involvement in clinical research, validation of classical Ayurvedic interventions, community-based research, public health programmes, epidemiological studies, preventive healthcare, and multidisciplinary collaborative research.
• Joined as Research Officer (Ayurveda) in September 2009 and has since contributed substantially to the generation, validation and dissemination of evidence-based knowledge in Ayurveda.
• Research portfolio encompasses 45 research projects, including projects as Principal Investigator (PI), Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI), Co-Investigator (Co-I), Investigator and Coordinator. These projects include randomized controlled trials, clinical validation studies, community-based interventions, epidemiological studies, observational studies, public health programmes, technology-development projects and collaborative interdisciplinary research. The project record includes completed as well as ongoing studies.
• She has contributed to 20 research publications in national and international journals, including UGC-CARE and PubMed-indexed journals.
• She has also contributed to a WHO–AYUSH collaborative project on the assessment of integration of AYUSH into the public health system for combating COVID-19.
• She contributed to the development of Ayurveda-Based Diet and Lifestyle Guidelines for Prevention of Cardiac Disorders, published by CCRAS, and has also contributed to publications related to geriatric care and evidence-based Ayurvedic practice
