डॉ। SuparnaSaha is serving as a अनुसंधान अधिकारी (आयुर्वेद) at the Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Kolkata, under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Her work encompasses coordination of IMR/EMR and collaborative research projects, clinical duties as a general physician in both OPD and IPD settings, and significant contributions to Ayurvedic drug development. She completed her B.A.M.S. from J.B. Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (2008–2014), and earned her M.D. (Ayurveda) in Rasashastra and BhaishajyaKalpana from the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, under Dr. SarvepalliRadhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur (2015–2018). In January 2021, Dr. Saha joined CCRAS at the Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Kolkata, as Research Officer (Ayurveda). Her research focuses on the development of quality standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and pharmacopeial standards for ASU drugs. She is actively involved in multiple research projects, having completed one as Principal Investigator and currently engaged in two ongoing projects. Her core interests include Ayurvedic drug standardization, innovation in modified dosage forms, the formulation of anti-diabetic herbomineral drugs, and preclinical studies of selected Bhasmas. Dr. Saha has contributed to the scientific community with over 16 research publications in national and international journals, two book chapters, and has presented 20 scientific papers at international seminars and conferences. She has also participated in approximately 40 conferences, workshops, and webinars. Additionally, she is a lifetime member of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad.
