Dr. Vikas Nariyal

Dr. Vikas Nariyal is a Research Officer (Ayurveda) with the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS). He holds an MD (Kayachikitsa) from the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, and joined CCRAS in January 2017. He is presently posted at the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. From June 2021 to February 2023, he served in NITI Aayog’s Health Vertical, and from March to December 2023 he was posted at the 2118 Field Hospital, Leh, for a project on Acute Mountain Sickness. His work includes studies on Pandu Roga, Tamak Shwasa, and Acute Mountain Sickness, along with outreach under the Swasthya Rakshan Program. His research interests span clinical research, basic research, and survey studies, and he has authored more than ten papers in peer-reviewed journals
