Dr. Abhayadev A, is an alumnus of Govt. Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram. He had completed his post-graduation in Kaumarabhritya from Govt. Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram.  He started his career as an Assistant Professor in Kaumarabhritya at Nangelil Ayurveda Medical College, Kothamangalam, Kerala. He had joined Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) as a Research Officer (Ay) in January 2017. He had served as In-charge of Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Port Blair from June 2018 to November 2023. He has successfully implemented the Covid-19 related programmes at RARI, Port Blair. He was the Principal Investigator of various Public health oriented research programmes and Clinical Projects. His area of interest is Paediatric skin disorders and Life style related disorders. He is also a reviewer of reputed scientific journals of Ayurveda and published articles in various Journals. He has participated in various capacity building training programmes including Research Methodology, NABH etc.
