Dr. Arvind Kumar is currently working as a Research Officer (Ayurveda) at the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. His roles and responsibilities include OPD consultation, handling clinical research projects, PI in North-East Healthcare Plan, Member Secretary of the Institutional Ethical Committee, In-charge of Rajbhasha Hindi, and Consignee at GeM, etc.
He completed his BAMS and MD (Ayurveda) degrees from the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, Rajasthan, along with nine certificate courses from various Institutes of International and National repute. He started his career as a Lecturer at S.B.L.D. Ayurveda Vishwabharti, Sardarshahr, Rajasthan, in 2014, having expertise in Ayurveda physiology. In 2017, he joined the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences as a Research Officer (Ayurveda) at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Patiala, Punjab. Subsequently, he served in the Education Policy section of the Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi.
His research work is focused on clinical research, and he has six research projects to his credit. He has published ten research papers in various International and National journals. He has attended 42 International and National seminars, conferences, summits, webinars, etc., where he has made six presentations.
He has participated in 22 training programmes and workshops. He has reviewed 11 papers for various International and National research journals. He is on the reviewers panel for PG-STAR and SPARK schemes of the CCRAS. He is an editor in the CCRAS Bulletin and JDRAS special issue.
