Dr. Ashok Kumar Sinha has completed his B.A.M.S. from Govt. Ayurvedic College and Hospital Patna Bihar in 2001 under B.R.A. Bihar university Muzaffarpur Bihar and also completed his M.D. (Ayu.) in the Deptt. of Kayachikitsa from Rajiv Gandhi Govt Postgraduate Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Paprola, Kangra, HP in 2007 under Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
He was initiated his career as a Lecturer in the Department of Kayachikitsa at Nitishwar Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital Muzaffarpur from November 2007 to June 2008 After that Dr. Sinha has joined at S.K.S.S. Ayurvedic college and Hospital, Sarabha, Ludhiana, Punjab as a lecturer from 2008 to 2010. In 2010 He was selected as AMO in Bihar Govt and worked from 2010 to 2011 after sometime He left this job and joined S.R.T. Ayurvedic College Karjara, Gaya as lecturer from 2011 to 2012. Again after sometime He left this college also and Joined Gour Brahman Ayurvedic College Brahamanwas, Rohtak as Lecturer. There He has got promoted as Reader and H.O.D in the deptt. of Kayachikitsa and worked from 2012 to 2016. In January 2017 He was joined as Research Officer (Ayu) at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Gangtok, Sikkim and worked upto March 2024 during this period He was also performed the duty of Institute In-charge for about one year. He is presently posted at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Agamkuan, Patna, Bihar.
He has remained involved in around 20 different types of research projects as Principal Investigator and Co- Investigator. He has also authored a book chapter entitled “Clinical trials unveiling the potential of phytochemicals across different diseases” under the book entitled “Phytoceuticals in Food for Health and Wellness” published in 2025. More than 15 articles (authored/co-authored) have been published in different peer reviewed and indexed journals in his credit. He has also contributed as a reviewer of WJAS journal. Recently he is sincerely rendered the service as Research officer in Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Agamkuan, Patna, Bihar.
