“Dr. Dattatray Dighe is a highly qualified researcher with expertise in Ayurveda (Rasashastra) and regulatory affairs. He earned his B.A.M.S. from Tilak Ayurveda, Mahavidyalay, Pune, Maharashtra in 2009, and his M.D. in Ayurveda (Rasashastra) from the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, Rajasthan in 2014.
Dr. Dighe began his career as a Lecturer in Agada-Tantra at Gaur Bramhan Ayurveda College, Rohtak, Haryana in 2014. He joined the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) in 2017 as a Research Officer (Ayurveda), initially at the Central Ayurveda Research Institute for Hepatobiliary disorder, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. He is currently posted at the RRA Podar Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CCRAS), Worli, Mumbai.
He possesses valuable experience in Drug Manufacturing units in Patiala and Kolkata, and in the CDSCO, Ayush vertical, handling regulatory work related to AYUSH, including WHO-GMP & CoPP, misleading advertisements, and grievances. He has attended over 40 seminars, workshops, and training programs.
In terms of research, Dr. Dighe has handled 01 project as Nodal Officer and 05 projects as Co-Investigator. Currently, he is actively involved in 02 projects as Investigator and 07 projects as Co-investigator. He has 14 research papers published as an author or co-author in national and international journals and serves as a reviewer for CCRAS journals and research initiative programs.
His primary interests include Drug Development in Integrative oncology, Socioeconomic Studies, Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Research Methods for Ayurveda.”
