Dr. Dipsundar Sahu

Dr. Dipsundar Sahu is currently working as a Research Officer (Ayurveda) in Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Kolkata; a peripheral Institute of Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, New Delhi.

He completed his B.A.M.S. degree from Calcutta University, Kolkata and M. D. (Ayurveda) from Utkal University, Odisha. He also accomplished his Ph. D. from University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya.

He is a responsible physician with overall 26 years of experience maximizing patient wellness and facility profitability including 15 years of experience in CCRAS since 2009.

He started his career as a Lecturer & Reader in the Department of Kayachikitsha at Suryamukhi Dinesh Ayurved Mohavidyalaya, Booty, Ranchi in Jharkand in the year of 2004.

He joined in the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India as Research Officer (Ayurveda) at National Research Institute of Ayurvedic Drugs Development, Bharatpur, Bhubaneswar in Odisha in the year of 2009. He has served as Research Officer (Ayurveda) at various peripheral Institutes of CCRAS such as CARI- Kolkata and RRI-Ranikhet. He also worked as Research Officer (Ayurveda) in CCRAS, Head Quarter, New Delhi.

He has been actively contributed in the research specialisation as well as major scientific field such as Clinical Research, Medicinal plants conservations and phytochemical analysis of medicinal plants.

He has successfully completed more than 15 (fifteen) Research Projects as a Principal Investigator. He has more than 50 (fifty) National & International papers and articles in which many are from Spinger, PubMed & Scopus journal. Additionally he has also presented more than 20 (twenty) scientific papers National and International Seminar / Conference.

He has also received prestigious Dr. P.D. Sethi Memorial Annual National Awards 2019 on March, 2020 in the field of Ayurvedic research.
