Dr. Karthika A.P, MD (Ay) is currently working as Research Officer (Ayurveda) at the National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma (NARIP), Cheruthuruthy, under CCRAS, with around 18 years of experience in pediatric care, teaching, and research. She holds an MD in Kaumarabhritya and a Certificate in Marma Chikitsa, with professional interests in pediatric nutrition and developmental disorders. She joined CCRAS as Research Officer in 2017 and has been involved in conceptualizing, executing, and coordinating clinical, literary, and documentation research projects. She has actively participated in documenting the life profiles of eminent Ayurveda personalities, particularly those associated with Kerala’s Ayurvedic tradition. She serves as a trainer for CCPT, CCMC, and PTC courses and also looks after the social media activities of NARIP, Cheruthuruthy. She is an expert reviewer under the Scheme for Training in Ayurveda Research for PG Scholars (PG-STAR) and has authored and co-authored publications in reputable scientific journals. Through her clinical, research, academic, and literary activities, she contributes to the advancement, preservation, and wider dissemination of Ayurveda, with a special focus on Kaumarabhritya.
