Dr. Laxman W.Bhurke

Dr. Laxman Waman Bhurke is a Research Officer (Ayurveda) at the RRAP–Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Worli Mumbai, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. With over 15 years of experience in research and clinical practice, medical education. he has significantly contributed to the evidence base of Ayurveda, particularly in clinical research, lifestyle disorders, and community health programmes. He is currently working on seven collaborative research projects.
Dr. Laxman completed his M.D. in Kayachikitsa from Sion Ayurved College, Mumbai University,  in 2005 and B.A.M.S. from Vidarbha Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Amravati. His career spans key academic and research positions, including his tenure as Lecturer in Kayachikitsa and Agadtantra at Yashvant Ayurved College Kodoli, Kolhapur after that he joined the in the Council (CCRAS) as a Research Officer at the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute for Urinary Disorders, Jammu, in Jan 2011 . He has served as Principal Investigator for several important clinical studies on IBS (Grahani Roga) , hyperuricemia (Vatarakta), and Chronic bronchitis (KASA) and Co-Investigaors in allergic rhinitis, Anaemia, quality of life in the geriatric population, and large-scale community-based projects like the Ayurveda Raksha Kit under AMHCP- SCSP Mobile Health Care Programme. He is also Co-Investigator in national multicentric trials on rheumatoid arthritis ( AMRA and AMRA 2.0 ) , breast cancer outcomes based on Prakriti, assessment of Prakriti in ovarian cancer, and NCD risk-factor surveys, Dr. Bhurke 7+ peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals, including JRAS, Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine, Journal of Natural Remedies, and Frontiers in Public Health. .A trained professional in Good Clinical Practice, , Pharmacovigilance, and Research Methodology, he has participated in more than 30 national and international workshops.
