Dr Savita Poshatti Gopod

Dr Savita Poshatti Gopod obtained her B.A.M.S. from Government Ayurved College Nanded, Maharashtra and M.S. in Prasuti and Stree Roga from R. A. Podar Ayurved Medical College, Mumbai, in 2012. She began her career as a Prasuti and Stree Roga assistant professor at Rani Dullaiya Smriti Ayurved P.G. College, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

She joined the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (C.C.R.A.S.) in February 2017 as a Research Officer (Ayurveda) at the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute in Lucknow and is currently working at the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. She has authored eight research articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals.  She is the principal investigator and co-investigator for various clinical research projects and public health programs. She is also a reviewer in reputed Ayurveda scientific journals. Her research interests include skin disease research and women’s health.
