Dr. P.P. Pradeep Kumar

Dr. P.P. Pradeep Kumar completed M.S. (Ayurveda) from Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram in 2012 and B.A.M.S. from Ayurveda College, Coimbatore in 2008. He/She began the academic career as Assistant Professor at Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad (2012–2017). Subsequently, he/she joined the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), Bhubaneswar as Research Officer (Ayurveda) from January to November 2017. From November 2017 to December 2025, he/she served as Research Officer (Ayurveda) at the National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma (NARIP), Cheruthuruthy. He/She is presently serving as Research Officer (Ayurveda) and In-Charge at the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Sri Vijaya Puram.

His/Her research interests include Fundamental Research in Ayurveda and Clinical Research on Panchakarma, particularly in the areas of Gynaecology, Infertility, and Neurology. He/She is serving as Co-Investigator for the Tribal Health Care Research Programme (2025–26), including a Cross-Sectional Study to assess the prevalence of Metabolic Syndrome and its association with Prakriti and Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) risk factors among the adult population of South Andaman district, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. He/She has authored 18 research papers published in peer-reviewed, UGC-listed, and other reputed journals, covering various aspects of Ayurveda, Panchakarma, and clinical research.
