Dr R. Arunadevi

Dr R. Arunadevi is currently working as Research Officer (Pharmacology) at Captain Srinivasa Murthy Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, New Delhi. His roles and responsibilities mainly include planning and execution of IMR/ Collaborative projects, management of the Department of Pharmacology and Animal House for small animal experimentation.  She is the Technical Manager of NABL biological and Veterinary testing. She is basically a veterinarian who graduated from Madras Veterinary College and completed her M.V.Sc. and PhD in the discipline of Pharmacology from the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly Uttar Pradesh. She has 9 years of Field experience as a Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in Tamilnadu Veterinary Services and 17 years of research experience in Ayurveda Drug Research as a pharmacologist. She is the Member Secretary of the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee and CCSEA Socially aware nominee for various external Institutes. She has published 30 publications in reputed journals. She is a resource person for the FELASA-accredited ‘Certificate course in Laboratory Animal Science (CCLAS). She is a life member of the Indian Veterinary Council, Indian Pharmacological Society, Indian Society of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology, Laboratory Animal Scientists’ Association and Indian Society of Ethnoveterinary Herbal Research.
