Dr. Rajeshwari Singh holds an M.D. degree in Ayurveda (Ayurveda Pharmacology) from the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, Rajasthan. She is working as a Research Officer and is presently posted as Officer on Special Duty (Technical) in the Office of the Secretary, Ministry of Ayush. Dr. Singh has been actively involved in various policy briefs and documents of the Ministry of Ayush. Additionally, she contributes her expertise to matters pertaining to International Cooperation (IC-Section), World Health Organization (WHO), Forum of Indian Traditional Medicine (FITM), the Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and NITI Aayog.

Dr. Singh has made valuable contributions as a committee member in the formulation of government policies related to the Ayush sector in India. She serves as a Member of the Pharmacopoeia Committee (PC) of the Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) and holds the position of Member Secretary for Ayurveda Aahaar, which falls under the Food Safety and Standards (Ayurveda Aahara) regulations governed by FSSAI. She is also the Member Secretary for Integrative Health Policy at NITI Aayog. 

Dr. Singh, representing the Government of India, has participated in bilateral and multilateral meetings at various platforms. She is a member of the task force for the WHO-GCTM and serves as a nodal officer for GCTM to the WGO from the Government of India. Currently, she is also a  focal point for the G-20 forum from the Ministry of Ayush. 

Furthermore, Dr. Rajeshwari Singh has been an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Research and Development Task Force of the Ministry of Ayush, which has been responsible for envisioning, implementing, and publishing COVID-19 research studies within the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.

With extensive research experience, Dr. Rajeshwari Singh has made valuable contributions to peer-reviewed publications and authored multiple books. Recently, she played a crucial role in the publication of the “Mitigation and Management of Covid-19 Compendium of Ayush-based Practices” from Indian States and Union Territories, published by NITI Aayog.
