Dr Remya E has graduated from Govt. Ayurveda College, Tripunithura and her post-graduation was from Govt. Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram in Kayachikitsa. She has acquired PhD (Kayachikitsa) from ITRA, Jamnagar and also secured Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy (PGDYN) from Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar. She started her career as an Asst. Professor in KMCT Ayurveda Medical College, Kozhikode, Kerala. Later, she had been worked as Research Officer(Ayurveda), Ministry of AYUSH (selected through UPSC) and Medical Officer, Department of AYUSH, Govt. Of Kerala (selected through KPSC). She has been entered into the workforce of CCRAS in 2017 as Research Officer (Ayurveda) and has an extensive research experience of more than eight years in various CCRAS institutes at RARI, Mumbai, NARIP Cheruthuruthy and CARI Bhubaneswar.
Dr Remya E has been engaged as NABH co-ordinator of NARIP and the institute got accredited during her tenure. Presently, she serves as the Principal investigator of two IMR projects at CARI Bhubaneswar, Principal investigator of two IMR projects and Co-Principal Investigator of two IMR projects Principal investigator of two IMR projects at NARIP Cheruthuruthy. Dr. Remya is actively involved as an investigator in several collaborative research projects with prestigious institutes such as AIIMS Bhubaneswar, ICMR-RMRC Bhubaneswar, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences Kochi etc. More than ten IMR projects in clinical and literary domain were completed under her investigatorship. She is also served as the in-charge of in-patient, out-patient, Panchakarma departments of various CCRAS institutes, co-ordinator of academic programmes offered by CCRAS such as CCPT and PTC. She was the Yoga demonstrator of events organised by NARIP and MDNIY (Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, New Delhi) in association with International Day of Yoga(IDY)
Dr Remya has authored 20 publications (including articles and book chapters) in National and International peer reviewed journals. She is a member of editorial board of JRAS – Geriatrics special issue. She is also engaged as a reviewer of scientific journals. She has presented papers in various national and international seminars. She has received the Jeevaka Award for Excellence in Ayurvedic Studies. She has delivered lectures in CMEs and seminars organised by Govt. Ayurveda Colleges in Kerala, ITRA Jamnagar, NARIP Cheruthuruthy, Kerala Ayurveda Academy and various Ayurvedic associations. She has completed various certification programmes offered by Indian Institute of Public Health(IIPH), John Hopkins University, Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), University of Trans-disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU), NPTEL, Christian Medical College Vellore etc
