Dr. Renu Singh is working as Research Officer (Ayu.) at Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Head Quarters, New Delhi. She has graduated (B.A.M.S.) from State Ayurvedic College, Lucknow. She completed her M.D.(Ayu.) in 2004 and Ph.D (Ayu.) in 2008 in the specialty of  Basic Principles (Siddhant Darshan) from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP. She has done Diploma in Yoga from Yoga Sadhana Kendra, BHU, Varanasi in 2003. She has served as Service Senior Resident, in the Dept. of Siddhant Darshan (Formerly Basic principles), IMS, BHU, Varanasi for 03 years (14.10.2005 to13.10.2008). She has worked as Assistant Professor for one & half years at private Ayurvedic Colleges in the Department of Basic Principles.

 She joined Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences in October 2009 as Research Officer (Ayu.) at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Jammu and thereafter shifted to CCRAS Hqrs. She is having more than 18 years of research and teaching experience in the field of Fundamental & Clinical research. She has published more than 25 research articles in peer reviewed journals and contributed in more than 15 books/chapters.

She has worked in more than 25 Fundamental and Clinical Project as Nodal Officer/Investigator.   She has been recognized as a Ph.D. Co-Supervisor in the speciality of ‘Samhita -Siddhanta’ under the Faculty of Ayurvedic Sciences and designated as an Adjunct faculty in the Department of Samhita Siddhanta (Basic Principles), Mahatma Gandhi Ayurveda College, Hospital & Research Center, Salod (H), Wardha. She is member of Review Board of Journal of Research in Ayurvedic Sciences & Associate editor of CCRAS News Bulletin.
