Dr Rohit K.S. has graduated from Govt. Ayurveda College, Kannur and his post-graduation was from SDM, Hassan, Karnataka in Bhaishajya Kalpana. He started his career as an Asst. Professor in Govt. Ayurveda College, Kannur, Kerala and RVS Ayurveda College, Coimbator. He has been entered into the workforce of CCRAS in 2017 as Research Officer (Ayurveda) at RARI, Ahmadabad and NARIP, Cheruthuruthy. Now he is deployed at CCRAS Hqrs, New Delhi.

Dr. Rohit was engaged as Pharmacy I/c of NARIP and the institute got GMP certification. He has worked as the Principal Investigator of four IMR projects and co-investigator of four IMR projects, among them one is a collaborative project with JNU, ICGEB, TD. More than ten IMR projects in clinical and literary domain were completed under his investigatorship. He was a Co- coordinator of Certificate Course on Marma Chkitsa and also engaged in preparation of AYUSH-SS and AYUSH- M3 tablets in IMPCL.

                Dr. Rohit has authored 19 publications (including articles and book chapters) in National and International peer reviewed journals. He was an editor of JDRAS. He is also engaged as a reviewer of scientific journals. He has presented papers in various national and international seminars. He has delivered lectures in CMEs and seminars  organised by Govt. Ayurveda Colleges in Kerala, NARIP Cheruthuruthy, Kerala, and various Ayurvedic associations. He has completed various certification programmes offered by Indian Institute of Public Health(IIPH), John Hopkins University, University of Trans-disciplinary Health Sciences and NPTEL etc.
