Dr. Saketh Ram Thrigulla is currently serving as a Research Officer (Ayurveda) at the CCRAS-National Institute of Indian Medical Heritage, Hyderabad, under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, in New Delhi. He graduated with a BAMS from Dr B.R.K.R Ayurveda Medical College, Hyderabad, in the Year 1998, M.D. (Ayurveda Vachaspati) in Dravyaguna from Government Ayurveda College, Nanded, Maharashtra in the year 2002 and Conferred with a PhD (Ayurveda Vidyavaridhi) in Dravyaguna by NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada in 2014.
Before joining the Council, worked as a Medical Officer and Research Assistant at Annapurna Specialty Hospital of Ayurveda (ASHA) , Snehapuri, Hyderabad (Dec 1998- Nov 1999), Works Manager at Annapurna Bio-Ved Pvt. Ltd (ABVPL), I Village- Injapur, Hayath Nagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana (Jan 2003 -Sep 2005), SRF for the IM R Project-“Namatah Anukta (Extrapharmacopoeial Drugs in Ayurveda-EPDA)” at Indian Institute of History of Medicine (IIHM), CCRAS, Hyderabad (Oct-2005 to Sep-2006) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF-PhD) to research “Non-Native(Exotic) Drugs in Ayurveda- A Medico historic Review at Indian Institute of History of Medicine (IIHM), CCRAS, Hyderabad affiliated to NTR University of Health Science, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh (18th Oct 2006- 16 Oct 2009)

Significant Research contributions by Dr. Saketh Ram are as follows:
Since 2006 till date continuous and steady work has been carried out in the field of bringing in the best of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) solutions for mainstreaming of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) and with a special emphasis on Ayurvedic Literary works into public domain in association with ICT professionals, Ayush Scholars. - The pioneering aggregator work titled “AYUSH RESEARCH PORTAL (http://ayushportal.nic.in)” in vogue since 2010 has resulted in development of rich and well maintained repository of AYUSH research work. It is accessible throughout the world and visitors from 53 countries utilize the services from this portal as of now.
- Development of Integrated Clinical Decision Support System (ICDSS) from 2010 till date in two phases has created an in house open source platform for content management of Ayurvedic Diagnostic Systems, Classification of Disorders and development of Standardized Terminologies. The significant works among these are:

- Actively involved in the conceptualisation and development of AYUSH GRID, which aims at bridging the gaps in terms of the technology divide among AYUSH professionals and other stakeholders and help develop and democratise the utilization of information resources for optimal output and further showcase the contribution of AYUSH to Public health and nation building. As part of Ayush Grid Initiatives, coordinated the onboarding of the Ministry of Ayush onto PM-Gatishakti- National Master Plan & Ayush GIS Portal, Ayush Education and Learning Management Software (eLMS), AYUSH-Hospital Management Information System (A-HMIS) V.2 with BISAG-N, AyuSoft, Ayush-NGO Portal, Ayush Information Hub etc.,
