Dr. Sangeeta Sangvikar is currently working as Research Officer (Ay.) at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Patiala Punjab under The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. She has completed B.A.M.S from DR. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathavada University, Aurangabad, State of Maharashtra and M.S. (Ayurveda) Shalyatantra from Swami Ramananda Teertha Marathawada University, Nanded, Maharashtra.
She has joined in CCRAS as Research officer (Ay) on 19th September 2009 at NEIARI, Guwahati. She has attended regular OPD duties and actively participated in various research activities. During the period from 2009 to 2012 worked as Clinical In-charge and completed Clinical IMR Projects of Rheumatoid Arthritis – 2 Papers published in JRAS Journal.
She worked during the period 2012 to 2018 as Research Officer (Ay) at RAIFR, Pune. She worked as Incharge of Phytochemistry section and completed 19 monographs viz. Ayurveda components in APC monographs on 10 plants, CTD monographs on 3 plants, phytochemical analysis of 6 plants. She had done Phyto chemical Analysis of 17 plants, Ayurvedic component related to Database Vol. X and report submitted to council in time. 3 IMR projects were completed as Co-I at Pune. She worked as IEC Member at Maharashtra Arogya Mandal’s Rasamrut Ayurved Pharmacy which is run by Sumatibhai Shah Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Malwadi, Hadapsar, Pune, She was a chair person of women grievance committee and participated various research activities. She had coordinated to organize Ayurveda Day, National level Arogya, 2016 at Auto cluster, Pimpri Chinchwad and CME for teachers and scientists on Fundamental Research. She worked at RARIMCH, Nagpur from 2018 to 2020. She worked as Incharge of IPD, Minor OT and Panchkarma section and regular OPD and IPD duties there. She had completed 3 SRP monographs. She also completed 03 projects 1 as PI and 2 as Co-I for COVID 19 containment
zone prophylactic study project, A Retrospective cross-sectional study on safety and effectiveness of Ayurvedic formulations, Prospective study on Rasaushadhis and Ayu Raksha Kit project and actively participated in various research activities.
She worked at CARI, Patiala from 17th August 2020 to till date. She is working as OPD In charge, PI of AMHCP-SCSP project and also worked as Co-I of RCH-SCSP project. She has participated in various training programmes. She has attended regular OPD and IPD duties and also actively participated in various webinar, training, seminar, workshop and conferences, research activities.
She has published 16 Research Papers in UGC-CARE Journal and various reputed journals.
