Dr. Aswathi Mohan P, MD (Ay.), Ph.D, joined as Research Officer (Ayurveda) in Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) on 08.03.2021. She is currently posted at National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma (NARIP), Cheruthuruthy, Kerala. Dr. Aswathi Mohan completed her BAMS from Vaidyarathnam P. S. Varier Ayurveda College, Kottakkal, Kerala; Post Graduate degree, MD (Ay) in Dravyaguna Vigyana, from Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram and Ph.D in Dravyaguna from Institute of Post Graduate Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (IPGT & RA), Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar. Before joining the council, she worked as Assistant Professor in Dravyaguna at Ashtamgam Ayurveda Chikitsalayam and Vidhyapeedam, Palakkad, Kerala for two years. She began her career in CCRAS as Research Officer (Ayurveda) at Captain Srinivasa Murthy Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CSMCARI), Chennai where she was involved as Principal investigator and Co investigator of various IMR projects on Drug standardisation and Medicinal plant research. She is a member of the editorial board of JDRAS special issue. Her research interests include Fundamental research, Ethno medicine, Standardisation, Quality control and Drug development
