Dr. Shakti Bhushan has completed his B.A.M.S. (2015), M.D. (Ay.) (2018), and Ph.D. (2023) from Banaras Hindu University (BHU)..

He served as a Medical Officer (Ayurveda) under UPPSC from 2020 to January 2021. He joined CCRAS as a Research Officer in February 2021 at CARI, Kolkata, where he has been actively engaged in research coordination and institutional responsibilities.

At CCRAS, he is involved in the coordination of IMR, EMR, and collaborative research projects, along with hospital duties including OPD and IPD services, and organization of health camps. He contributes to Ayurvedic drug development, quality assurance, and formulation of research standards.

His research on modified dosage forms and herbomineral preparations, particularly in the domains of learning & memory enhancement and aphrodisiac therapeutics.

Dr. Bhushan has served as currently involved in 10 ongoing research projects. He has authored over 25 research papers and two book chapters published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has presented more than 20 scientific papers at International conferences and has participated in over 70 seminars, workshops, and webinars.

He serves as a reviewer for several National and International Journals and is an Expert Member of the Advisory Committee, Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine, West Bengal. Additionally, he functions as a Subject Expert Reviewer for SPARK , PG-STAR and post doc schemes He is a Lifetime Member of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad
