Dr. Shivshankar Rajput

Dr. Shivshankar Rajput is currently working as a Research Officer (Ay.) at the Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Punjabi Bagh (W), New Delhi. He has completed his B.A.M.S. from Shree Gulabkunvarba Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Jamnagar, and M.S. (Ay.) & Ph.D. from the Institute for Post Graduate Teaching & Research in Ayurveda (I.P.G.T.& R.A.), Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar in Stree Roga and Prasuti Tantra.

He joined the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences on 11.01.2017 as a Research Officer. He worked on the COVID-19 Clinical trials in collaboration with A & U Tibbia College in 2020. He has been involved as Principal Investigator and Co-investigators in various Intramural & Collaborative research projects such as PCOS, Raktapradar (Menorrhagia), Dysmenorrhoea, Shwetapradar (Bacterial Vaginiosis), RCH-SCSP, LVH etc. He is the reviewer of the JRAS and other peer-reviewed journals. He has more than 25 published research articles as author and co-author in various Journals. He has contributed to drafting clinical research protocols, technical reports, monographs, and review articles.

He has been in charge of the Ayurveda Treatment Centre (ATC), Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi since July 2021. He has collaborated and developed Clinical Projects with the Gynecology & Obstetrics Dept., ENT Dept., and Cardiology Department of VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. He is also doing one day of OPD as a specialist of Stree Roga weekly at the Department of Integrated Medicine, Lady Hardinge Medical Colleges and Hospital. He had gone through multiple capacity-building trainings on Research Methodology by different organizations, viz. PHFI, DHR and other organizations.
