Dr. Shruti Khanduri

Dr. Shruti Khanduri is working as a Research Officer (Ayurveda) at CCRAS Headquarters. She has completed her postgraduate degree in Rasashastra from BHU and has an experience spanning over two decades. Her areas of interest encompass a wide spectrum, including novel drug delivery research, drug research, and clinical research.

Dr. Khanduri began her professional career as a Lecturer at Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya & Research Centre, Shiroda.   She has worked as Research Officer /Principal Scientist in the R&D division, M/s Ozone Ayurvedics and Head, Ayurveda Section at NABL Ayush Drug Testing laboratory.

Currently, she is engaged in development of new Ayurveda formulations and is also associated with the preparation & development of clinical research protocols for the conduct of clinical studies . She is involved in various Intramural & collaborative Clinical and Pharmaceutical Research projects as Nodal Officer /investigator. She is also involved in the Extramural research projects, Ministry of Ayush as one of the investigator. She has also worked as nodal officer in various public health-oriented research programs of the Council, such as the Tribal Health Care Research Programme, Ayurveda Mobile Health Care Programme, Swasthya Rakshan Programme, Integration of Ayurveda in the NPCDCS program in select districts, etc. Dr. Khanduri is a member of various scientific Committee/Working group besides serving as member of Inter-ministerial Committees. She has contributed for the Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India and Ayurvedic Formulary of India. She serves as an Associate Editor for two CCRAS journals viz. JRAS and JDRAS, she has more than 80 research papers in various journals to her credit and contributed to more than 40 books/Technical reports/monographs/compendiums
