Dr.Shubhashree M.N is currently working as Research Officer (Ay) at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Bengaluru. Her roles and responsibilities include planning, execution and management of clinical research projects as Principle Investigator / Co investigator along with administrative role as Incharge of OPD, CARI and Member secretary of Institutional ethics Committee .

She has completed BAMS and MD (Dravyaguna) from Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bengaluru securing 2 gold medals from Bangalore University. She has a distinguished career spanning various positions like Ayurveda Consultant at Seva Ayurveda International, Professor at Ramakrishna Ayurvedic  Medical College for 7 years from 2002 to 2009. Later, she joined as a Research officer at Regional Research Institute,Bengaluru in September 2009. Dr Shubhashree is actively involved in IMR/Collaborative Research projects and completed more than 25 projects &has 9 on-going projects. She has efficiently handled collaborative research projects like AMRA study, an ambitious project taken up by Ministry of Ayush, Ayush- D with premiere institutes like AIIMS, New Delhi, Podar Medical College, Mumbai, Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, KLE Belgaum and also participated in medico-ethnobotanical surveys in Davangere, Gadag& Kolar districts,

Dr.Shubhashree MN is a member of technical committee in Bureau of Indian Standards and a member of Research Advisory Committee (RAC) for Ph.D in Dietetics from JSSHER Mysore. She has published more than 60 papers in National and international journals and has contributed a chapter in Springer journal , written blogs in Mygov blogs. She has also contributed a chapter in Futuristic Trends in Medical Sciences and a chapter on Ethnobotany in Handbook  of plant genomics and nano biology . 

Dr Shubhashree is a reviewer for more than 5 International /National Journals and   has conducted various programmes for students on Pharmacovigilance. With an experience of having participated in various training programmes like Reverse Pharmacology, Research Capacity Building under Ayush ICMR collaboration, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Ethics, Prakruti assessment, she has also played a key role in organizing  more than 40 seminars/ conferences / workshops / webinars and attended more than 80 seminars /workshop including CME Programmes and  has played a key role in establishing networks with esteemed institutes
