Designation : Dr. Suprabha K is currently serving as a Research Officer (Ayu.) at the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Ahmedabad, under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (C.C.R.A.S.), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi.

Career Brief : She holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and a Master’s degree (MS – Prasuti Tantra evamStreeRoga) from S.D.M. Ayurveda Hospital, Udupi, affiliated with R.G.U.H.S., Karnataka. She has completed her Ph.D. (Ayu) at I.P.G.T&R.A., Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, and also has accomplished a Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy (P.G.D.Y.N.) from M.P.I.Y.N.E.R., Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar.She has also completed a Certificate Course in Marma Chikitsa and a Professional Certificate in Pharmacovigilance.

She has previously held positions as Assistant Professor in the Department of Prasutitantra&Streeroga at Muniyal Institute of Ayurvedic Medical Science (M.I.A.M.S), Manipal, Karnataka, and at Major S. D. Singh Post Graduate Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Areas of interest include research, scientific writing, women’s health, Rasayana therapy, integrative medicine, traditional medicine, clinical trials, public health, preventive and evidence-based medicine.She has been actively involved in IMR and collaborative research projects, serving as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator. She has authored and co-authored 15 articles published in various national and international journals.
