Dr. Susmita Priyadarshinee Otta

Dr.Susmita Priyadarshinee Otta is currently working as Research Officer (Ay.) at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Bharatpur Bhubaneswar functioning under Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), ministry of AYUSH. She has completed her Post graduation in M.S (Prasuti Tantra ebam Stri Roga ) from Gopabandhu  Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya , Puri, Odisha . She has worked as Assistant Professor and reader for about nine years at  self financing  Ayurvedic Colleges in the PG  Department of Prasuti Tantra ebam Stri Roga at NKJ Ayurveda Medical College and hospital, Bidar Karnataka and Desh Bhagat Ayurved Medical College and Hospital, Mandi Govindgarh Punjab.

She joined Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences in October 2009 as Research Officer at c (Drug research ) Thiruvananthapuram, Kerela  . While working at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute , Thiruvananthapuram she was involved as Principal Investigator and Co-investigators in various Intramural research projects such as Dysmenorrhea, PCOD, Uterine Fibroid, SRP & SCSP. She also worked as Hindi Officer. During 2018 – 2020 she worked as Research officer at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute Mother and Child Health Care, Nagpur. There she had undertaken the Reproductive and Child Health Care Programme and various other IMR project including RCH Gadchiroli.

Presently she is working as Research Officer at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Bhubaneswar since March 2020. She has entrusted with IMR projects as Principal Investigator for COVID-19 , PCOS,outreach programme -RCH/WCH-SCSP,as Co-Investigator for Mission Utkarsh and EMRS. She has authored and co-authored various research articles and also contributed in drafting clinical research protocols, technical reports and monographs, review of articles.
