Dr Vinod Kumar Thallada is currently working as a Research Officer (Chemistry) at Captain Srinivasa Murthy Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CSMCARI) under CCRAS, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, since January 2021. His research focused on developing quality standards, SOP, and Pharmacopeial Standards of ASU Drugs, Nanomaterials and Catalysis. He completed his Master’s degree from the University of Hyderabad in 2009 and subsequently obtained Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, he worked as an ad-hoc faculty at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal, Telangana. Following that, he worked as a SERB-NPDF at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad, from 2017 to 2019, where his research interest focused on carbon nitride materials for pollutants removal and water-splitting reactions. He then joined the University of Hyderabad as a Dr D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellow, where he worked from 2019 to 2021.  He acts as a reviewer for several international journals like RSC Advances, Chemistry of Materials, ACS Applied Nano Materials, Catalysis Science & Technology, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research and many more. So far, he has published more than 30 research articles with an average impact factor of 5.0, three book chapters and one monograph, which together have garnered more than 900 citations, resulting in an H-index of 18. He has participated in training regarding the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and currently serves as the Technical Manager for the chemical section.
