| Mrs. Sapna Avinash Kondalkar currently holds the position of Research Officer in the Pharmacognosy Section at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Gwalior, M.P., Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. She is an esteemed member of the Pharmacognosy-MPR Research Team. She obtained her Post Graduate degree in Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy) from Barkatullah University, Bhopal in 2006. Prior to her current role, she served as an Associate Professor for 6 years and as an Assistant Professor for 5 years at Truba Institute of Pharmacy in Bhopal, M.P. Her professional endeavors include contributing to the development of Pharmacopoeial Monographs, Pharmacognostic Standardization, and the Standardization of Medicinal Plants. She also has a keen interest in Phyto-pharmaceuticals, the Development of Novel Drug Delivery Systems for Ayurvedic Drugs, and the creation of Herbal Cosmetics. She has delivered guest lectures in departmental training/orientation programs and at various Institutes as well, participated various scientific programs and presented about her review/research work. Furthermore, she has been granted three Design Patents (358929-001 dated 21.02.2022, 370096-001 dated 30.08.2023, and 384401-001 dated 29.03.2024). In recognition of her contributions, she was honored with the “Women Scientist Award” from the Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA) M.P. State Branch during the IPGA Conference on challenges and opportunities in future pharmaceutical research and innovations. She is reviewer for Bentham Science Publishers, the Journal of Medicinal Plant and Herbal Therapy Research, and the International Journal of Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology Research, as well as proposals for CCRAS PG-Star, CCRAS-SPARK etc |
