He is currently working Assistant Director (Chemistry) in Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India.  He is looking after R&D and Drug Standardization activities of various CCRAS Institutes (Including NABL/DTL institutes/ Laboratories and GMP pharmacies), analysis & compliance of quality control and safety parameters etc. of single drugs and compound formulations of Classical, Coded, Claim and other Clinical Trial drugs. He is also discharging duties in monitoring of IMR, EMR & collaborative projects related to Drug Standardization. He is performing technical enquiries related to quality control, Regulation of Ayurveda drugs and other related issues. He has also been associated in Drug Development Committee for clinical trial. He is also dealing with Q C of Ayurvedic drugs related issues in Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India. He is also looking after the drug standardization part of claims related to COVID-19 for Interdisciplinary Technical Review Committee (ITRC).

He has also served as Chemist in Central Revenue Control Laboratory (CRCL), D/o Revenue M/o Finance (CBEC) Govt. of India dealing with Chemical analysis of various commodities/ Samples for Revenue (Excise& Custom duty) purpose with a view to Export/Import / Excise Tariff act & policy.

He is also Member secretary of Translational Research, Intellectual Property Rights & Business Development (TRIPR&BD) Cell, dealing with the IPR issues and Technology transfers to the industry. He is actively involved in Technology transferred/ Product Know how commercialized for 13 products and filed 3 Patents.

He has successfully completed 6 Projects and Nodal officer for monitoring of 59 IMR/collaborative projects. He has contributed in 26 Books /Monographs/Technical reports and published 58 research papers. He is Member of review committee of JDRAS (Council’s Journal) also.
