Dr. Sariga K S, Ph.D. (Ayu) began her tenure with the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) on February 8, 2021, at the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI) in Gangtok, Sikkim. She is currently posted at the National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma, Cheruthuruthy.

Academic Background:

Dr. Sariga K S completed her BAMS and MD in Dravyaguna Vijnanam from Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram. She earned her Ph.D. from the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda, Jamnagar.

Dr. Sariga started her career as Assistant Professor in Dravyaguna at Government Ayurveda College, Tripunithura, where she served for three years. Subsequently, she worked at RARI, Gangtok, also for three years, during which she took on roles as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator for various Extra Mural Research (EMR), Intramural Research (IMR), and collaborative projects related to Public heath research, Fundamental Research and Survey of Medicinal Plant Unit.
