Dr. Shrawan Kumar Sah

Dr. Shrawan Kumar Sahu has completed his B.A.M.S. from Banaras Hindu University (B.H.U.), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh in 2006, M.S.(Ay.) {ShalakyaTantra) from National Institute of Ayurveda(N.I.A.),Jaipur, Rajasthan Ayurveda  University, Jodhpur in 2011 and  Ph.D. from Gujarat Ayurveda  University, Jamnagar in 2015.Thus, he  has the honour of gaining Knowledge from all the three prestigious institutes of India.

 He initiated his career as a Lecturer in the Department of Shlakya Tantara at Himalayiya Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital, Dehradun, Uttarakhand from October 2011 to December 2012. Dr. Sahu worked as an Assistant Professor at Patanjali Ayurvedic Medical College& Hospital, Haridwar, Uttarakhand from January 2015 to January 2017.He worked as a Research Officer at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Gangtok, Sikkim from January 2017 to February 2023. He is currently posted at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi.

He has remained involved in around 20 different types of research projects as Principal Investigator and Co- Investigator.He has authored a book entitled “NUTAN NETRA- ROGA VIGYAN” published in 2017 by Shivank Prakashan, Dariyaganj, New Delhi-1100002, ISBN-978-93-83980-91-8.He has also authored  a book chapter entitled “Role of Ayurveda in Managing Tinnitus” under the book entitled “Recent Advances In Pharmaceutical Sciences” [Volume-6] published in 2022by Innovare Acaedemic Sciences Pvt. Ltd.( P. 281-291).More than 25 articles(authored/co-authored) have been published in different peer reviewed and indexed journals in his credit.He has also contributed as a reviewer of a CCRAS journal.Recently he has sincerely rendered the service of an examiner to conduct the Ph.D. viva voce at University of Patanjali,Haridwar.
