Dr. Thirupataiah Boini

Mr. Boini is currently the Principal Investigator for 01 projects and Co-Investigator for 05 IMR projects funded by CCRAS, New Delhi. He has successfully completed 08 IMR projects as Principal/Co-Investigator.

His research focuses on the scientific standardization and quality assurance of Ayurvedic and herbal medicines through advanced analytical and phytochemical approaches.

His work includes the development of HPTLC and HPLC fingerprint profiles, validated chromatographic methods, marker-based quantification, comparative phytochemical evaluation of medicinal plants, formulation standardization and stability assessment.

A significant component of his research involves establishing scientifically robust analytical approaches for polyherbal Ayurvedic formulations and medicinal plants, thereby supporting their identity, purity, consistency, quality and reproducibility.

His research has also explored the application of modern analytical technologies to traditional medicines, including HPTLC/HPLC-based standardization, phytochemical characterization, bioactive marker quantification and ICH-guided approaches to quality and shelf-life assessment.
