Mr. Thirupataiah B. has currently worked as a Research Officer (Chemistry) at the Department of Quality Control Laboratory (Chemistry Section), National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma, Cheruthuruthy, under CCRAS, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, Since March 2021. His roles and responsibilities are mainly in Drug Standardization and Phytochemistry. His commitment to contribute to advancing the understanding and standardization of drugs in the context of Ayurveda aligns with the broader objectives of the Ministry of AYUSH in India.

He completed his M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Osmania University Hyderabad. He worked as an Assistant professor at Sree Datta Institute of Engineering and Science, Hyderabad, Telangana, from 2013-2014. Further, 2016-2017 as a Laboratory Assistant (Chemistry) at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Odisha. I worked as a laboratory technician (chemistry) at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, from 2017-2021.

His Joined the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Science (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH in the year 2021 as a Research Officer (Chemistry) at the National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma, Cheruthuruthy, Kerala. He participated in various training programmes for Drug Standardization and NABL training for the establishment of a Quality Control Laboratory for AYUSH Drugs conducted by premier institutes in India. Presently, he is the Principal investigator for 02 and 05 and Co-Investigator for the IMR Projects funded by CCRAS, New Delhi. 02 IMR Projects are completed as principal investigator and Co-Investigator are funded by CCRAS, New Delhi.

He published 07 Research Articles, 04 Review Articles are published in in International and National Journals, 06 Book Chapters in various books published by Bentham, CRC, Innovate and IIP Publishers, 01 Book was published as on August 2024, and also a review of 13 Research articles in preview Journals under the UGC-Carelist Journals. I also participated in 03 National and International Conferences for Herbal/Plants and Drug standardisation of Ayurvedic Sciences.

He qualified for various National level exams such as GATE (2013, 2019), CSIR-JRF (2014), CSIR-NET (2015), UGC-JRF (2017), and SLET (2013) in Chemical Sciences. And also the Director Appreciation Award (2019) from the Department of Chemistry, IISER-Tirupati. Further, a Best Oral Presentation award (2021) at the National Conference on New Frontiers in Pharmaceutical Research, IGNTU, Amarakantak.
