Tribal Health Care Research Programme under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP)
CCRAS has been executing Tribal Health Care Research programme (THCRP) under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) in identified Tribal dominated villages since 1982. Currently the programme is being carried out in 14 states though 14 CCRAS institutes. These institutes are:
Through the programme council is providing health care services, creating awareness about Health, Nutrition and Hygiene among ST community, providing Incidental medical care and documenting demographic trends through door to door survey. Local Health Traditions (LHT) and folklore practices among Tribal Population have also being documented in this programme.
During last 9 years under this project, a total of 9, 49,197 Tribal population has been covered and incidental medical aid has been provided to 4, 61,978 patients of selected 1,905 Tribal Villages. Besides this, 1,729 LHTs/Folk claims were documented.

Ayurveda Mobile Health Care Programme under Scheduled Caste Sub Plan
Ayurveda Mobile Health Care Programme under Scheduled Castes Sub Plan (SCSP) was initiated in 2015. The council has been executing this programmein 18 states though 20 CCRAS in identified SC dominated villages/blocks. The objectives of the programme are to provide healthcare services for various disease conditions, to provideAyurveda based lifestyle advocacy (Dinacharya, Ritucharya, Pathyaapathya etc.) for maintenance of health and prevention of diseases, to understand the health status of target population in context with their socio-demographic conditions and to generate awareness about health, hygiene &nutrition.

Reproductive/Women and Child Health care programme under Scheduled Caste Sub Plan
The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences under Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has been executing Reproductive and Child Health care programme under SCSP in identified SC dominating villages/blocks since 2018.
This programme has been executed through 19 CCRAS institutes in 17 States during 2018-20, through 7 CCRAS institutes in 7 states during 2020-21 and through 10 CCRAS institutes in 10 states during 2021-22 and 2022-23.
The objectives of the programme are to provide healthcare services for various disease conditions, to provide Ayurveda based lifestyle advocacy (Dinacharya, Ritucharya, Pathyaapathya etc.) for maintenance of health and prevention of diseases, to understand the health status of target population in context with their socio-demographic conditions and to generate awareness about health, hygiene &nutrition.

Integration of AYUSH (Ayurveda) with National Programme for Prevention and control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases and Stroke (NPCDCS) in 3 districts Surendra Nagar (Gujarat), Bhilwada (Rajasthan) & Gaya (Bihar)
This programme has been executed upto 30th April, 2021 in 3 districts i.e. Surendra Nagar (Gujarat), Bhilwada (Rajasthan) and Gaya (Bihar). A total 897 patients were enrolled for selected non communicable diseases, 15,005 patients were enrolled/ registered for Yoga Classes and 2 camps were conducted.
Ayurvedic Health Care Centers under NE Plan
Health care services are being provided by the council through Ayurvedic Health Care Centres (AHC) in North East since 2016. Currently the programme is being carried out in 04 states though 04 CCRAS institutes. (CARI Guwahati-07AHC, RARI Itanagar-05AHC, RARI Gangtok-03AHC & RARC Tripura-04 AHC).
The Objectives of the programme are to provide health care services through OPDs, to provide Ayurveda based lifestyle advocacy (Dinacharya, Ritucharya, Pathyaapathya etc.) for maintenance of health & prevention of diseases and to generate awareness about health, hygiene &nutrition.
